About Our Student Achievements
High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) The High School Proficiency Assessment is used to determine student achievement in reading, writing, and mathematics as specified in the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The test is administered in March of a student's junior year of high school. First-time eleventh grade students who fail the HSPA in March will have an opportunity to retest in October and March of their senior year. HSPA Results from March 2008: Language Arts Literacy:

Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) For the 2006-2007 school year, 356 students at North Hunterdon and 255 students at Voorhees took the SAT. Scores were as follows (800 represents perfect score on each section):
Advanced Placements Tests Advanced Placement (AP) Courses are college level academic courses offered in a high school curriculum. By taking AP courses and the AP exam for the course in the spring time, students have the possibility of earning college credit. If a student scores a 3 or better on the AP exam (on a scale of 1 to 5), they may be able eligible for college credit, though the eligibility requirements vary by college/university. Both North Hunterdon and Voorhees High Schools have a variety of AP Courses for students to choose from, which include:
In 2007, 670 exams were taken by North Hunterdon students with 559 exams scoring a 3 or better. At Voorhees, 430 exams were taken with 345 scoring a 3 or better. In total, 82% of AP exams scored a 3 or better, giving students the potential to be eligible for college credit, depending on the college they attend. College Admission and Post Graduation
