Student Council

Do you want to create a positive environment at school? Promote community values, or build school spirit by furthering and improving student participation in activities?

If you answered yes to any of these, Student Council is for you! 

Come out and join other North Students on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 2:30 in Room 152-A.

STATE CHARITY

Every year North’s student council raises money and awareness for our state’s charity. 

This year’s charity is Ava’s Voice.

The mission of Ava’s Voice is to empower youth with Usher syndrome and to educate families and school communities. Ava’s Voice is a proud USH Partner of the Usher Syndrome Coalition and an affiliate of the National Family Association for Deaf-Blind.

FRESHMEN ELECTIONS

Here is the link to the election packet for the 2024-2025 school year.

Dates to know:

  • October 15: completed class officers election packet due
  • October 21:recorded speeches must be uploaded to the shared Google Folder
  • October 28: Hanging posters can start
  • November 12 and November 13: voting in Social Studies classes occur
  • November 15: posters need to be taken down and class officers will be announced
