The North Hunterdon Theater Organization offers students a variety of theatrical experiences. Throughout the school year, our program is designed to provide opportunities for participation in several areas of the performing arts, including drama, comedy, musical theater, dance, stage crew, and technical theater. All students are invited to participate in NHTO productions as actors, musicians, stage hands, hospitality managers, or theater technicians.
In addition to the information in this brochure, students and parents can find details about our productions on the NHTO website at: http://www.nhvweb.net/nhhs/english/mmeo/theater/

Our 2019 fall play is a staging of the beloved classic, Little Women, based on the novel by Louisa Mae Alcott. A pre-audition meeting will be held in August, and will be announced during the first days of the 2019-20 school year. All students are welcome to audition. Performances are October 17 and 19.
NHTO will announce our winter musical title at the beginning of the 2019-20 school year. Acting auditions are in early November. Performance dates are February 28, 29, and March 1. Rehearsals are held several afternoons per week, on Saturdays in January and February, and during Presidents’ Weekend.
In April, NHTO presents a “Scenes and Songs Cabaret”, a collection from contemporary and classic plays, movies, and television shows.
