1) Thursday, March 5, at 6:30 in the theater, the NHS is hosting the annual trivia bowl to benefit ST. Jude Children’s Hospital. Make a team and come out to test your knowledge against your peers and see if you can beat your very own NHHS teacher teams.
2) YAG will be holding a mandatory meeting after school on Monday, March 9th in room 243. There will be important information about the Pre-Legislative field trip, as well as forms that you must turn in to attend Pre-leg. If for any reason you cannot attend you must reach out to Mrs. Voegele prior to the meeting.
3) Boys volleyball will have tryouts on March 10th, 11th, and 12th from 3-5pm in the Main Gym. Please sign up in Aspen and get all necessary paperwork done. Email Coach Matisak or Prado with any questions.
4) Learn about the RVCC Honors College and NJ Stars programs with Greg DeSanctis in the Media Center this Tuesday, March 10, at 8:44 AM. An email was sent out to all Juniors, Seniors, and their parents/guardians with eligibility requirements. See Ms. Fisher in Counseling today to sign up.
5) Key Club is selling Gertrude Hawk Chocolates this week only! You can place your order online through the link on the flyers in the mall, on the school website, or in the email sent out to you.
6) Attention Seniors: Free Money for College or Technical School! Local scholarship opportunities are now available on the Guidance website. You may apply for as many scholarships as you qualify for, provided you submit your applications by the March 13th deadline. Please note – late submissions will not be accepted. If you have any questions, reach out to Ms. Craske in the Guidance Department.
7) The North Hunterdon-Voorhees Ice Hockey squad is headed to the State Sectional Finals tomorrow at 4:30 PM as they take on Robbinsville at the Codey Arena. Winner takes home the sectional title and advances to the state finals at the Prudential Center on Monday! Good luck, we’re rooting for you!
