Did you know: Christopher Columbus arrived on this day in 1492. Although is a major holiday in Latin America, countries celebrate it differently. In some countries it is called, “Day of the race” “Day of the indigenous resistance” and “Encounter of two worlds” All to mark the importance, whether negative or positive, of Columbus’ arrival to the American continent.
Any senior boys that want to participate in cheering for the girls in the annual powder puff football game should see Mrs Vitelli in the health office to sign up.

There will be a Halloween Dance Friday, Nov. 2 in Cafe B. There will be free food, karaoke, and face painting. Admission is $5. Dress your best for some Halloween fun!
Attention all students. If you would like to apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award, please visit the guidance website or the Scholarship List in Naviance to find out more information about this award. Students have the potential to receive an award of $1,000 or $5,000 and an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. All applications must be turned into Mr. Robaey in guidance by Friday October 19 to be considered.
