Are you tired of the green walls in the cafeteria? Well, here’s your chance to spruce them up by adding your artistic touch. It’s the first annual North Hunterdon High School Mural Contest! This contest is open to ALL NHHS students, so either individually or with a group of friends come up with a spectacular design for a 10 by 10-foot wall mural based on the theme “We Believe North Matters.” To submit an entry, pick up a pre-cut 10″x 10″ paper in the Little Library to make a rendering of your mural in color. Remember to include a separate paper with the title of the mural, names of those involved with your design, and a brief explanation of the inspiration for the design. Submissions will be accepted the week of January 8-12th in the Little Library. Finalists will be chosen and a school-wide vote will determine the winners!
The Northern Lights Art and Literary magazine is open to student submissions of poetry, flash fiction, short stories, and visual artwork! Our next blog post’s theme will be “winter.” Please submit works as a Google doc or a jpeg image to email@example.com to be published in the forthcoming blog post!”
