This week is Computer Science Education week! Computer Science Education Week (Decmber 4-10, 2017) is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906). Admiral Grace Murray Hopper was an American Computer Scientist and United States Navy rear admiral. She was a pioneer of computer programming who invented one of the first compiler related tools and led to the development of COBOL.
The music department cordially invites you to the first winter concert of the season Thursday, December 7 at 7:00 PM in the theater. Featured groups are the String Orchestra, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, and Show Choir. Why not start the holidays rights with the festive sounds of the season. We hope to see you there.
Due to a new state law this year all student who will participate in an intramural sport here at NHHS will need to take an impact test. If you have tested for an interscholastic sport you will not need to re-test. Testing dates are these 2 dates only: TODAY and next Tuesday, 12/12/17 in room 156 at 3 pm. See Mrs. Korbul with questions.
Calling all Mathletes, the next Math League contest will take place in both cafeterias TODAY after school.

Just a reminder that the Say it in Sign Club is meeting TODAY since next week is a half day for students. Come learn some holiday signs and watch a theatrical interpreter TODAY at 2:30 in Room 010.

The Red Cross Club will be collecting Toys for Tots. There will be a drop off box at the Route 31 entrance until this Friday. Help out those who are in need by bringing in items such as sporting equipment, stuff animals, blankets, board games, and appropriate toys. This is a great cause that will help brighten the day of another individual.
Attention all Sophomores and Juniors:
On Friday, December 15th, there will be a field trip to Hunterdon County Polytech for any SOPHOMORE or JUNIOR interested in learning more about the Polytech programs. All sophomores, juniors, and their parents have been emailed a permission form. Please hand in the form to Ms. Fisher in guidance. If you have any questions. please see Ms. Kellum.
