The Tempest

 2 Days till Opening Night!!!

All tickets sold at the door, beginning 30 minutes before curtain.

Important news for Tempest Cast Members:

T-SHIRTS are in. To receive yours, you must bring in $10 cash in an envelope with your name on it. We will not give a shirt to anyone who has not followed this instruction. We do not accept checks, and we cannot accept cash unless it is wrapped up in an envelope (even a home-made, taped-together envelope will do) with YOUR NAME on it. Please bring your money in by Wednesday, so we can all wear our show shirts on Thursday to advertise opening night!

MAKE-UP notes:
Men characters (including girls who are playing male characters) – wear eye liner in a shade darker than your hair color, and foundation in a shade slightly darker than your skin tone.
Women – wear eye liner, mascara, and brow pencil a shade darker than your hair color. Wear foundation a shade slightly darker than your skin tone.
Miranda – natural shades lipstick, blush, and eye shadows
Antonia – natural shades lipstick, blush, and eye shadows, but avoid pretty pinks.
Ariel and all Spirits and Goddesses – Sparkle it up, girls! Use shiny, shimmery, glossy, and glittery colors. Try to coordinate with any color you may be wearing. Since you have to apply the make-up after your Mariner scene, be sure you can accomplish it in the few minutes you have before your next entrance. Please do not make any particular design on your face. BLend everything in. We still want a somewhat natural look, just more glittery than Miranda or Antonia.
Since I am only sending this out on Tuesday afternoon, I don’t expect that you’ll have all of your makeup today. Let’s try to finish in time tonight for a run to Wal-mart or Rite Aid for makeup, if necessary. Or perhaps you might forward this email to a parent and ask (extremely politely) if they have time for a store trip….  If you absolutely can’t get to the store tonight after practice, let me know before we finish tonight, and I’ll pick up something for you.

Thespians participate actively in NHTO productions, and earn points toward membership in and awards from the International Thespian Honor Society. Meetings are most Mondays. Times vary due to our busy rehearsal and performance schedules, and will be announced with each meeting. The location for meetings will vary, depending on the activity of the day.  Our 2 main locations are Room 241 and the Theater.
