Take NJ 31 north, to US 46 West, to Interstate 80 West. Follow I-80 West to the toll bridge at the Delaware River, which serves as the border between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Continue west along the Pennsylvania section of I-80 for about 3 miles. I-80 runs up an extended hill, and past exits 53 (Delaware Water Gap) and 52 (Marshall's Creek). The exit for East Stroudsburg, Exit 51 West, is located Just over the crest of this hill. When you reach the end of this exit ramp, make a right at the T, onto Prospect Street, then continue north through two stoplights:
o The first stop light is located at the four-way intersection of Prospect and East Brown. The most prominent feature at this first light is a Texaco gas station on the south-east corner of the intersection.
o The second stop light is located at the three-way intersection of Prospect and Ridgway. From this intersection, Prospect leads north (straight ahead); and Ridgway leads west (to the left). The most prominent feature at this intersection is the East Stroudsburg University Main Circle, located to the east (to the right) of the light.
Continue one block past this
second light, and turn right (east) onto Normal Street. The ESU Campus
Information Center will be on your left, about a block and a half beyond
the turn. (If you pass the physical plant--a building with a tall brick
smokestack--you have driven too far.)
