In an increasingly global society, the North Hunterdon High School’s World Language Department educates students to become communicatively competent and informed global citizens with speaking, reading, writing, and listening proficiency in languages, though critical insights and an appreciation for world cultures.  We incorporate an interdisciplinary approach to instruction by integrating literature, art, music, history, science, technology and more so that our students  gain a well-rounded understanding of the universal human experience.

 

VISION STATEMENT:

Our vision is to promote a love for world languages, language acquisition and cultures from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Through the articulation process, we try to align the curriculum and strive for proficiency in all languages and levels.
