The
Students Against Drunk Driving, in conjunction with the members of SADD (All grades) being
presented to all Juniors/Seniors and all SADD members at
North
Hunterdon High
School, is taking a proactive step in educating local high school
students about making mature decisions when alcoholic beverages are
involved.
Every
15
Minutes is a
two-day program that challenges high school juniors and seniors to
think about drinking, driving, personal safety and the responsibility of
making mature decisions when lives are involved. All participants are
volunteers who have been approved by their parents.
Every
15
Minutes
is a two-day program that takes students directly into the heart of a fatal
collision. This program intends to educate and raise awareness about the
affects of driving under the influence. The decision to drive under the
influence is often taken too lightly by high school students. Therefore,
the program is designed to put more emphasis on how critical decisions
impact someone’s life. By involving the students and faculty in extravagant
production, the reality of driving under the influence is taken to heart.
The impact of such an event can often strengthen relationships and build new
friendships between students, faculty, and the community.
SADD and the senior class in cooperation with various city, county,
state, and local community groups will host a project called
Every
15
Minutes
at North Hunterdon High School on
April
14th
and 15th, 2008.
You are invited to attend this program in the North Hunterdon lot
beginning at 12:30 on April 14th.
We do apologize to 9th and 10th graders and
their parents but due to the size of the North Hunterdon High School
population only juniors and seniors will participate in the program.
