Try Outs
A mandatory try out meeting will take place on March 13 in Room
120 at 2:30pm or 5:30pm. There are two meetings, but pick the
one that fits best with your schedule. It is recommended that a
parent attend as well.
TRY OUT
WEEK is May 7-11, 2012 in the Boys Gym from 5pm-8:30pm each
night.
Cheer candidates must attend the try out meeting on March 13 and
complete all medical paperwork prior to try outs.

Accomplishments
The Large Varsity NHHS Cheerleading Squad ranked in the Top 10
Best teams in the country at the UCA National Cheerleading
Championship in Orlando, FL in February 2012 and 2009.
The Medium Varsity NHHS Cheerleading Squad ranked in the final
round at the UCA National Cheerleading Championship in
Orlando, FL in February 2008 and 2011.
The NHHS Varsity Cheerleaders took First Place in the
Skyland Conference Delaware West Divisional Championships in
November 2008, 2007 and 2005 at Bridgewater High School.
The North Hunterdon High School Varsity Cheerleaders won First
Place at the Contest of Champions National Championships
in Orlando, FL on February 24, 2007. They won the Medium
Varsity Level 4 division and the entire Level 4 division, which
placed them #1 out of 26 teams.

National Champions in Small Varsity, Washington DC, March
2005.
Coach Guida Schuetz received the NJ Cheerleading Coach’s
Recognition Award for New Jersey Coach of the Year 2007.
Coach Guida Schuetz received the General’s Award,
a National Award for Coach of the Year 2006, from Coastal
Alliance Group and Atlantic Cheer and Dance.
Since 2005,
North alumni are cheering at the
Division I college level and received scholarships based
upon excellence in cheerleading and in the classroom: Syracuse
University, Penn State University, University of Delaware,
Virginia Tech University, University of South Carolina,
University of Miami, Lehigh University, Wesley College.
The coaching staff is AACCA Certified.
The AACCA Spirit Safety Certification Program is a lecture
course, study manual, and timed exam designed to educate
cheerleading coaches in all aspects of spirit safety and risk
management. |
