November 15, 2017 at 7:00pm, North Hunterdon High School Theater – When Cancer is in the Family: Supporting the Children
There are more than fifteen million Americans with a history of cancer. Some of these individuals were recently diagnosed, others have been undergoing treatment, while most were diagnosed many years ago. No matter the timeline, cancer has a great impact on the family and more specifically the children. There are often many questions about how to address the needs of children/teens in the family when affected by cancer. This program will provide information and guidance around how to approach this often sensitive issue. Presented by Jill Kaplan, LCSW, Program Director at Cancer Support Community of Central NJ
More seminars will be scheduled for the Spring.
