At its reception held on April 10, 2014, NJ Blood Services revealed that North Hunterdon and Voorhees High Schools finished first and third, respectively, in most units of blood donated at high school drives in 2013. North Hunterdon’s blood drives collected 1,235 units of blood, finishing first out of almost 500 high schools in the NJ Blood Services’ service area. Voorhees’ blood drives collected 586, finishing third. Congratulations to our staff members and student clubs who help coordinate each blood drive. Thank you to all of our students, staff members, parents and community members who support our efforts and have donated blood, you are truly giving the gift of life.
