School Based Youth Services Program
School Based Youth Services Program associated
with Hunterdon Behavioral Health provides adolescents with the opportunity to
complete their education, to obtain skills that lead to employment or additional
education, and to lead a mentally and physically healthy life.
The School Based Youth Services Program is a
partnership with schools and the community. Our program augments and coordinates
services for adolescents. If other services are needed, School Based staff will
help to link the student to these services.
All services are free of charge. School Based Youth Services Program provides:

What do I need to do if I am a student interested in participating in
this program?
If you are interested in participating in this
program you can contact Ashley M. Curley, MSW (School Based Counselor) at
908-788-6401 x 3930. During the school year you can go directly to the school
based office to request an appointment or to get more information on the School
Based Youth Services Program. If you are unsure of where the school based office
is located, feel free to ask for assistance from the guidance office staff. The
school based counselor is available at Voorhees High School on Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00a to 2:30p. It is important to note that for students under 18 years of age must have a consent to treatment form signed by their parent or guardian AFTER the 1st appointment in order to have a 2nd appointment with the counselor. referrals?
Referrals for others can be made in person on
Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:00a to 2:30p. Referrals can also be made by

Referrals are also accepted by contacting the

AA referral can be made by anyone who has a
concern about a student. Common referral sources include parents, teachers,
guidance counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, friends of a student,
private counselors, emergency department personnel, and primary care physicians.
