After taking a year off to help raise his family, Bob was hired at Olympic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.  When he wasn’t teaching physical education he was working as an assistant coach in football and wrestling.  After only two years as an assistant wrestling coach, Bob was promoted to the head position which he held for the remainder of his five years in Charlotte.  Bob was primarily responsible for breathing life into the wrestling program at Olympic High School were he coached six state place finishers and had several winning seasons.

Bob and his family moved back to Clinton, NJ in 1998.  He was hired by Voorhees that fall to teach physical education and coach wrestling and freshman football.  After working under Rick Thompson for three years, Bob was given the head wrestling position in the spring of 2001.  Bob Angstadt currently resides in Clinton Township with his wife Katie and three children
