Q- Can a student take a physical education exemption if they play a school sponsored sport?
A- No, the district no longer has physical education exemptions. Every student must participate in physical education during each year of high school.



Q- If a student has a medical exemption from a doctor, does that affect their grade.

A- No, a medical exemption from a doctor excuses that student from physical education classes without any consequences.



Q- When can a student make up a physical education class.

A- The student must make up the class any time during the marking period that the class was missed. The guidelines for doing a physical education make up can be found at the bottom of the PE Grading Policy page.
