Tools for Schools Information Page

Voorhees High School is proud to be taking a leadership role in providing a safe, comfortable and productive environment for our students.  In the Fall of 2004, we implemented a new program to monitor and improve indoor air quality in our building.  We follow the Tools for Schools program developed by the EPA to helps schools not only improve indoor air quality but to quickly respond to problems as they arise.

The Indoor Air Quality committee was created to manage the Tools for Schools program. It represents members of the Voorhees community; teachers, administration, custodians, parents and Board of Education.

The Tools for Schools program uses checklists to identify indoor air quality issues. These checklists provide easily applied activities to identify and eliminate pollutants in the building.
