Each year North Hunterdon High School seniors are fortunate to receive a large number of local scholarships through the generosity of various local clubs and organizations.  Criteria vary, but usually include some reference to financial status, academic performance, activities and/or major.  Interpretation of these criteria is relative and depends entirely upon who is making the decision.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING

 Local Scholarship Application

  1. Complete one Local Scholarship Application for EACH SCHOLARSHIP!
  2. Look to see the scholarships for which you would like to apply.  Be sure to read the requirements for each scholarship carefully!
  3. Include any extra essays that are necessary for the scholarship.
  4. Please use a black or blue pen to complete the application.
  5. Staple all of your materials together.  For applications that are returned to guidance, do not put applications in an envelope!
  6. Please disregard the YEAR when it comes to the date.  Some of these applications are reused multiple years.  Even though some applications have the previous year listed, you can still use them.

Section A

  • Candidates must have attended Union Township School from grades 4 through 8 and have graduated from said school.

  • Candidates must have a 3.0 or better grade point average at the end of his/her senior year of high school.

  • Financial need of the candidates will be taken into consideration if more than one individual meets the criteria.
