Schools that don't require the SAT

SATs v. ACTs

SATs 

  • Want to take a free practice SAT or ACT? Call 866-TPR-PREP.  The test can be taken on sight or downloaded to take at home.

  • To register for the SATs please visit the College Board website. The SATs are offered at North Hunterdon in October, May and June but you may take them elsewhere at other times.

  • The school CEEB code that you will need to register for the SAT or ACT is: 310005.  Please remember to sign up for score distribution to any colleges that you think you might want to apply to.  You can get up to 4 free at the time of SAT registration, after that you must pay a fee per school.

  • For any students interested in signing up for the Princeton Review SAT Prep Course offered by the Princeton Review - you can use the following promotional code to receive a discount:  PRNNHHSMR08.  Princeton Review and Kaplan are two organizations that offer SAT Prep.  There is also a list of other SAT Prep resources on the guidance website.

 

Math Resource Center Schedule

Resource Center Time                                                 

  • Each department has teachers available during the school day to tutor students.  Consult with your teachers to get a passes to these centers.  Schedules are posted in each department chairperson's office and on each departmental website.

  • Peer tutoring is another option.  Please contact Carol Skidmore for a math tutor and  Charlie Heidecker for all other subjects.

  • I also have a list of private tutors that I can recommend to you.

Attendance Policy

  • Unexcused Absences: Students who miss more than 6 classes in a semester course and 12 classes in a year long course will lose credit.

  • Please watch your absences.  If you still have notes that you have not brought in to attendance, please do so immediately.
