Check out This Week In Guidance for the "Junior Packet"! Due to changes in our department staffing, I will need this before the end of the summer, if at all possible.

The Gateway Program has some wonderful opportunities for many students. Please check out that website, also: www.nhvweb.net/nhhs/GiftedandTal/index.htm. Juniors, especially, should take advantage of some of these opportunities, even if you don't think you are "Gifted"!

You may be interested to know that I have a particular responsibility for any exchange students we may have visiting from other countries. This is a special interest for me because of my previous work as an international student advisor on the college level. If any of our students' families have thought about hosting an international student at some time, please let me know, and I will put you in touch with the exchange agencies who often bring students into our district.
