Project Graduation is an all-night party for North Hunterdon High School graduates that begins immediately after graduation and continues until the next morning. It is an opportunity for the graduates to spend quality time with their classmates in a fun and safe alcohol and drug free environment.

The Project Graduation event is planned mostly by parents of seniors, with much help and support from all parents, high school staff and the community through volunteering and donations. This year’s cost per child attending Dave and Busters will be approximately $160, however through the support of donations, PTSA will offset this amount by approximately $100, leaving the net cost per child to be $60. Parents of freshmen, sophomores and juniors please consider volunteering for a few hours checking backpacks, bus supervision, or for the overnight event itself as a chaperone.

9:30 – 11:05 p.m	Music! Refreshments! Prize Drawings! Enter in through the hallway from the theatre only.
There Will be a Security Procedure. All bags and pockets will be searched upon your arrival. Absolutely NO opened or unsealed packages or containers will be allowed past security. This includes candy, gum, cigarettes, etc. NO beverages of any kind including water will be allowed. There will be plenty of soda and water available at this time. Needed over-the-counter and prescription medications will be held by the Nurse stationed at Dave & Busters. The only exception is inhalers.
10:00 p.m	Prize Drawings! You are automatically entered to win one of 20 fantastic prizes!
11:05 p.m.	Begin boarding chartered buses bound for Dave & Busters.

1:00 – 5:00 a.m.	Dave and Busters, Philadelphia, PA Settle in for a great night and on into the early morning – with hours of fun that will include dinner, dancing and games.
5:05 a.m.	Begin boarding buses for the trip back home
6:30 a.m.	Approximate arrival time at North. There will be no overnight parking at North. You must arrange for a ride since you will be exhausted!

Project Graduations throughout the country have proven to be highly effective in preventing needless drug and alcohol related incidents on this special night when emotions and excitement run high. They are the antidote to the “good old days” when graduation night partying too often had tragic consequences. That’s why our goal is 100% student participation. Please encourage your seniors to take part in this exciting time of their lives.

Both North and the facility hosting Project Graduation will devote their exclusive attention to North Hunterdon High School throughout the duration of this event. No student may leave unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a drug and alcohol free event with a zero tolerance policy – any offender will be immediately turned over to the custody of the facility or a parent/guardian. No excuses and no refunds.
