creative job ad promoting the science- or technology-related occupation you
have selected.

should be informative, creative, and appealing to your target audience.

Process

Find
background information about the responsibilities and requirements of your
career in:

Find your
career mentioned in a news article in
EBSCOhost
Web-MasterFile Premier; read the article and find the name of a company
or government agency that employs people in your field.

Use
Google or another Internet search engine to
find the web site for the company or agency you identified in step 2. Get a description of the company from the web
site’s About section or a press release.

Refer to the
project
rubric
and design a job ad that will attract a student or recent graduate to
consider your career. You may use Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher, but be sure
to follow the format requirements on the rubric.
