READING ROLE MODELS

According to a 2007 Study on American reading habits conducted by the National Endowment for the Arts, Americans ages 15 to 24 spend almost two hours a day watching TV but only seven minutes of their daily leisure time on reading. Adults in our school community share with students the importance of reading by volunteering as Reading Role Models.

The following Reading Role Models have found that reading isn't just a "tool for school," but can bring a lifetime of pleasure. Read the interviews about their reading habits and check out their recommended titles.
