The Congressional Award is recognition for young people involved in volunteer service, and excellent for listing on college recommendations and resumes.
Plan ahead—all previous work does NOT count;
applicants must have an advisor prior to
commencing activities.
The website contains many examples of how to approach meeting the
criteria. Awards are given in two
categories and of three levels each. Requirements are listed in the following table.
