athletes)

The Frank
Baldachino Essay Award
seeks to recognize academic, leadership, and athletic attributes of high
school seniors. Interested
seniors must have participated in two sports for two years in each sport
and must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports.
Additional criteria: minimum of a B+ grade average, be within the top
25% of class, ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1100, must demonstrate
leadership positions held within school based activities, and must
demonstrate leadership positions held in community service based
activities.
In addition: students must complete an essay
addressing: “How High School Athletics has impacted my life,” and obtain
a letter of recommendation signed from the high school athletic
