Reminder
to STUDENTS: ID cards are
needed to sign in to the Media Center and the Writing Lab. This will be required when the new IDs
arrive. In the meantime, use last year’s
ID.
IMAGES ART AND LITERARY
MAGAZINE
will have our first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 8th
right after school in Room 240. Anyone
interested in joining this year should attend this meeting!
If you would like to join SPANISH CLUB this year, please
meet in room 259 on Wednesday September 8th at 2:30.
Reminder to any SENIOR who does not have an
English class this semester: See Mr. Broan
in Room 244 today about taking the summer reading assessment.
INTERACT and
ABLE will meet on Wednesday, September 8th in Room
257. New members are welcome.
The ENGLISH EXCHANGE STUDENTS will be coming on October 22 and leaving on November 1st. We need
families to host so please ask your parents. If they agree, see Mrs. Reluzco in
room 257.
Attention UPPERCLASSMEN: Yearbook needs last year’s Prom and summer
photos. Please put them on a CD, which you will not get back, and drop it
in the yearbook mailbox in the main office. Please include an accurate
description of who is in the photo, where you are and what you are doing. The
deadline for submissions is September 20th.
SENIORS:
Please get your Senior Advertisements
for the yearbook in! If you have not received a form, they are located in
the main office! They are due September 20th!
Next Thursday is
the last day for schedule changes. Please fill out a pass for your
counselor and have a schedule change form signed by a parent by Wednesday at
the latest.
The first MINI-COLLEGE FAIR is Tuesday, September 14th.
Sign ups will be in Guidance Tuesday through Friday. Please sign up for
either mod 9 or mod 10 on the window in guidance.
September 10th is the deadline to register for the OCTOBER SAT.
GIFTED & TALENTED
Students and teachers: If you know of a student in grades 9-12 that
is running his or her own
money making business, we are looking for a
candidate to nominate. Please see Mrs. Oesterle to place your nomination
or email her. The Amazing Kids in
Business Deadline for our school is next Wednesday,
September 8th.

Scholarship - Grades 11, 12. Due 09/15/10. Government - Elected to Office. Must be a current
class/organization officer (Pres., VP, Sec. or Treasurer) or SC rep. in 2010-11
demonstrate leadership, high academics, clear speech/thought process, and
community involvement. Receive a week in Washington, D.C., March 5-12,
